Privacy Policy

Protecting your data matters to us. This policy explains which data ExamDraft processes.

What is stored

  • API key: Stored in your browser's localStorage. ExamDraft does not send it through its own servers.
  • Provider and model choice: Stored in your browser's localStorage.
  • Temporary session data: Analysis results and generated exams may be stored in sessionStorage for the current browser session.

What is NOT stored

  • No PDFs or exam texts on ExamDraft servers
  • No analytics or tracking
  • No user accounts
  • No cookies beyond technically necessary browser behavior

ExamDraft has no own backend for your exam content. The application is delivered as a static site.

API requests

API requests go directly from your browser to the provider you selected, currently Anthropic (api.anthropic.com) or OpenRouter (openrouter.ai). The contents needed for analysis, generation, or grading are transferred to that provider. ExamDraft does not access these requests through its own servers.

Data processing by the provider is governed by the provider's own privacy policy, especially the Anthropic Privacy Policy and the OpenRouter Privacy Policy .

Deletion / contact

You can remove locally stored data at any time through your browser's site data settings.
